Three of our tipsters remain and have picked their selections for day four
Day three is done, dusted and dumped into the bin. We’ve lost a few runners today in our last tipster standing competition as we took advantage of Betfair’s Free Bet Streak offer. It was a tough day to take but of those who remain, their selections for day four are as follows.
Daryl Carter, oddschecker Tipster
One Master, £20 win (13:45 Goodwood).
Hardly an original selection but One Master should take some stopping in this contest given 10 of her last 11 runs have come in Group 1 Company. Her last start in a Group 3 was a winning one and she is drawn well in stall one and her form figures over this trip of 7f 1, 1, 1, 4, 4, 1 and that includes a Group 1 Prix De La Foret.
Ed Quigley, horse racing journalist
PEROTTO, £10 win (16.20 Goodwood).
I'm looking at the Nursery at 16:20 for my selection, and the vote goes to PEROTTO who represents a resurgent Marcus Tregoning team. The gelding won a maiden over course-and-distance last time out in good style, and although it was only a three-runner affair, the runner-up that day has since gone on to win. Delving into handicap company for the first time off a mark of 78, he should have more to offer with ground conditions to suit.
Sam Farley, US Content and Marketing Manager
WASMYA, £5 win (13:45 Goodwood)
Of the past five winners there have been three from France, so I'm siding with a French hope, Wasmya at a tasty price, not only that but the past 11 winners have been 3 or 4 years of age, a trend which rules out a number of the field.
KHALOOSY, £5 win (14:15 Goodwood)
From long odds to short, Khaloosy should do the business in a small field. Good rating, good weight, good form.
