oddschecker is delighted to announce the launch of Racing Weekly, a brand-new show fronted by racing broadcaster Rishi Persad together with top tipster Sam Turner.
In a trailer released ahead of its eagerly awaited debut on Monday 24th January, show host Rishi Persad said: “Welcome to Racing Weekly, a podcast brought to you by oddschecker that takes a 360-degree view of the sport we all love.”
Each week on Racing Weekly, Rishi and Sam Turner will review the latest round of racing, look forward to the week ahead and tackle the big stories in the sport in a series of shows set to become a major part of every racing fan’s weekly routine.
As well as covering all the talking points alongside some special guests, they will of course be going in search of a winner or two as we approach the Cheltenham Festival in March.
With that in mind, Rishi asks Sam: “If you had to back one horse for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle now in one or two words, who would it be?”
“Two words will do - Dysart Dynamo,” replies the five-time tipster of the year.
As part of the same five-minute trailer, available to view here, Rishi asks for Sam’s reaction to comments from Ed Chamberlin this week, with ITV Racing’s lead presenter comparing Shishkin against Energumene to a football match between Manchester United and Liverpool.
Sam replies: “I've sat through so many 0-0 Liverpool vs Manchester United clashes - I hope Enurgemene and Shiskin is a lot better than that.”
Racing Weekly is the latest racing initiative from oddschecker, adding to a stable which already includes a live Road to Cheltenham blog housing all the relevant racing news and reaction to give punters the edge come Festival week. The blog also features exclusive comments from Andy Holding and Architect on the week’s biggest Cheltenham Festival betting stories.
