Each day oddschecker pick out the Market Movers for horse racing in the UK and Ireland, with today's top three in action at Hamilton and Leicester.
How does it work?
The oddschecker Market Movers page allows you to see the horses which have shortened or lengthened the most in the markets since they opened. Steamers are selections that have been well backed and shortened, while drifters have done the opposite.
Each day we look at the races in UK and Ireland to pick out the top three steamers, or selections with the biggest positive Average Market Swing* at the time of writing.
Thursday's Market Movers
1. Macho Pride - 21:00 Hamilton - 7/2 to 6/4 (15/8 Best Odds)
Our first Market Mover for Thursday's UK and Ireland racing takes us to Hamilton, where MACHO PRIDE has assumed strong favouritism for the 21:00. Harry Russell will be on board for a horse on an upward trend since three disappointing outings to start 2022. He finished 2nd of 15 at Haydock and 5th of 13 at Pontefract - both over 6f on fast ground he should find again today.

2. I Am The Sea - 18:15 Leicester - 6/4 to 4/5 (9/10 Best Odds)
Our second Market Mover of the day, I AM THE SEA, looks set to go off as a clear favourite in the 18:15 at Leicester, despite failing to place in any of his three outings so far. However, the stiffer test over 1m 2f should suit this William Haggas trained three-year-old now handicapping.
3. Flinstone - 20:15 Leicester - 17/2 to 3/1 (4/1 Best Odds)
FLINSTONE is our third Market Mover of the day, and the only one of the three unlikely to go off as favourite. Despite a big drop from 17/2 into 3/1 with some bookmakers, Laguna Veneta is likely to head the market. The Richard Hannon trained three-year-old finished 6th of nine most recently at Goodwood in April, but that was his first run since being gelded.
Fancy the treble?
Today’s Market Movers combine for a best treble price of 22/1 through oddschecker. Meanwhile, the worst odds on the treble are 19/1.
