Each day oddschecker pick out the Market Movers for horse racing in the UK and Ireland, with today's top three in action at Brighton, Chepstow & Roscommon.
How does it work?
The oddschecker Market Movers page allows you to see the horses which have shortened or lengthened the most in the markets since they opened. Steamers are selections that have been well backed and shortened, while drifters have done the opposite.
Each day we look at the races in UK and Ireland to pick out the top three steamers, or selections with the biggest positive Average Market Swing* at the time of writing.
Tuesday's Market Movers
1. Pontius - 16:45 Brighton - 13/2 to 11/4 (3/1 Best Odds)
The biggest Market Mover of the day in the UK & Ireland takes us to the final race of the card at Brighton, where PONTIUS has more than halved in price from 13/2 into 11/4 (best price 3/1). The four-year-old finished 4th of eight at Yarmouth just under three weeks ago but will be better for the comeback run after more than an 18-month hiatus.

2. Greased Lightning - 17:25 Chepstow - 13/2 to 10/3 (7/2 Best Odds)
The second Market Mover of the day is GREASED LIGHTNING, who despite a significant market shift is likely to trail Crosstitch (9/4 favourite) in the betting market for the 17:25 at Chepstow. The two-year-old Greased Lightning, foaled on 25th March 2020, will have Charles Bishop on board.
3. The Algarve - 19:40 Roscommon - 25/1 to 5/1 (6/1 Best Odds)
And finally, THE ALGARVE is a huge mover for the 19:40 at Roscommon, having jumped from big outsider in a small field (eight runners) into the top four favourites. He is expected to find easier ground today having struggled in three outings so far this year (4-10-7).
Fancy the treble?
Today’s Market Movers combine for a best treble price of 125/1 through oddschecker. Meanwhile, the worst odds on the treble are 107/1
