There is just one stage to the field at the declaration stage for the 2024 Grand National.
The final 34 horses for the 2024 Grand National have now been confirmed at the declaration stage, just over 48 hours before the race at Aintree.
The maximum number of runners for the race has been reduced from 40 to 34, marking the first reduction since 1984. There is also a new time for the race after safety issues blighted the 2023 renewal won by Corach Rambler.

Grand National Declarations
The only change from the confirmation stage to final declarations is that Kitty's Light (best price 14/1) replaces previous top weight Conflated in the top 34.
Kitty's Light, who claimed the Eider Chase, Scottish National and Bet365 Gold Cup treble last year, warmed up for the Grand National with a spin in the Ultima Handicap at Cheltenham.
Conflated's withdrawal leaves 2022 winner Noble Yeats to carry top weight in the race.
Conflated, declared instead for tomorrow's Melling Chase, claimed the Irish Gold Cup and Savills Chase in 2022 and finished third in last year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.
He failed to complete in two starts behind Galopin Des Champs at Leopardstown this season but subsequently got back on track by finishing a staying-on third in the Ryanair Chase, beaten just over six lengths by Protektorat.
