Find out how you can place a bet online on the 2024 Aintree Grand National, with some exciting bookmaker offers.
We’re all set for the Grand National on Saturday in what looks certain to be a thrilling race around the Aintree Racecourse.
Corach Rambler looks to be the horse to beat with odds of 13/2 currently, making him the favourite in the betting.
He also won this race last year and could become the third horse to win back-to-back Grand Nationals, after Tiger Roll and Red Rum.
There is a reduced maximum field of 34 set for Saturday’s race due to new safety regulations, as the riders and runners will face a tough test around the 4m 2f steeplechase.
Could Corach Rambler make a repeat of last year’s race, or will someone else take his crown, such as I Am Maximus or Vanillier who follow as 2nd and 3rd in the betting.

Types of Grand National Bets
Of course, there are a few ways in which you can place a bet on the Grand National. The different types of bets can be found below:
Win Only
This type of bet is fairly self-explanatory, as you are simply betting on your chosen horse to come 1st. To secure any return on this bet, your horse must win the race.
Each-Way
An each-way bet is slightly more complex but gives you more room for error when betting on the Grand National.
Many people will look to place an each-way bet on the Grand National, and you are essentially placing two bets at once, as you are betting on the horse to win or finish within a pre-determined number of places.
For example, a bookie may advertise they are paying bets on horses finishing in the top six places at 1/5 of the original odds.
If you placed a £5 each-way bet on a horse with odds of 40/1, you’ll receive £45 if it finishes in the top six. If that horse goes on to win the race, you will receive £250.
