This year’s edition of the race will have a slightly different look to last year as the race will be ran 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier than it was last year due to fears the late start time last year caused a dragged out build up and led to an escalation of nerves and tension which caused concern for the runners welfare.
The Grand National will begin at 16:00 on Saturday 13th April this year and will be broadcasted live on ITV.
The card for the race will begin at 13:20 with the William Hill Handicap Hurdle and the last race will be at 17:35.
