Who won the 2024 Grand National?
The favourite of the race has won for the second consecutive year as I Am Maximus steamed home under Paul Townend for trainer Willie Mullins at a 7/1 price. This is Willie Mullins' first win in the Grand National since 2005.
I Am Maximus impressively coasted clear of his closest rival, Delta Work in the home straight and ended up winning by seven and 1/2 lengths.
Behind Delta Work was Minella Indo who was ridden by Rachael Blackmore and had every chance as she led after the last hurdle but was no match for the eventual winner.
