Cambridgeshire Tips

Steve Ryder sided with Karl Burke trained LIBERTY LANE as part of his weekly ante-post tips for subscribers to Oddschecker Unlimited. He has come in from 25/1 to as short as 14/1 since last week's article but remains a best 16/1 on Sky Bet.

The son of Teofilo won over this course and distance on his second start of the season off a mark of 101 beating the solid yardstick Dutch Decoy by 1 ¾ lengths before finishing midfield at both Epsom and York on good to soft ground.

Liberty Lane once again showed his liking for good ground when a neck 2nd at Doncaster off a mark of 105 and the handicapper has raised him 3lbs for that effort. As an early closer he would run off the same mark of 105 in this race so he is 3lbs “well in” at the weights and he should outrun his odds.
