The defending champion gets ready to go again in the 2025 Grand National taking place at Aintree Racecourse tomorrow.
It was a fine run in the 2024 vintage from I Am Maximus, who was the bookies favourite to take the title, as Willie Mullins and Paul Townend reigned supreme in Liverpool.

The horse will be ridden once again by Paul Townend at the Aintree showpiece tomorrow, the first time he's been on the horse since the 2024 event.
Since then, I Am Maximus has run twice at Leopardstown with Jody McGarvey on his back in the Savills Chase in December 2024 and the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup Chase in February 2025.
In the former, the horse pulled up and came eighth in the second as Galopin Des Champs won both races at the Dublin-based racecourse.
His previous two races prior to the Grand National success saw him win at Fairyhouse in the Tote.ie Bobbyjo Chase and come third in the Irish Gold Cup.
The Willie Mullins trained horse will be looking to win big this time around and bookmakers are predicting there will be another triumph for the Irish training legend.
