General election tracker: Interactive map shows comfortable Tory majority as YouGov poll predicts

Our projections have the Conservatives holding 351 seats after December 12th

The Conservative party are set for a comfortable majority in the House of Commons, according to the latest bookmaker odds.

Oddschecker’s projections are indicating that the Tories are on track for 351 seats after the general election on December 12th, which would be a majority of 25 seats.

In terms of Labour, our data shows that Jeremy Corbyn’s party are set to scoop 205 seats after the country head to the polls.

 

SNP are on track for 45 seats, with the Liberal Democrats the next most popular party being favourite in 23 separate constituencies.

Taking this all into account, the Tories are 1/20 odds-on favourites to win the most seats following December 12th.

If you fancy the upset, Labour have been nibbled into 14/1, and the Liberal Democrats are some way off the pace at 200/1 for most seats.

In terms of the all-important majority, our forecasts are predicting a 66.7% chance that the Tories hold one, with no overall majority a competitive price of 5/2.

“However, there are a few discrepancies between our research and that of YouGov, with our data predicting 351 seats for the Tories, compared to the 359 predicted by the MRP poll.”
