Jeremy Corbyn has been the subject of a surge of bets to win the Islington North Seat in today's General Election.
Bookmakers have cut Jeremy Corbyn’s odds to regaining the Islington North seat from 6/5 to 1/1 on election morning (still 11/10 on Ladbrokes).
Despite being the second favourite behind Labour’s Praful Nargrund, that hasn’t stopped political bettors on oddschecker rushing to back Corbyn.

Oddschecker’s Leon Blackman said: “Just over three hours after polling has begun across the UK and the betting markets are already beginning to react to the day’s action. One constituency in particular who has seen a shift in the betting odds is in Islington North.
"Jeremy Corbyn has taken a staggering % of the bets this morning in the constituency: 68% of total bets today, compared to 53% of the share beforehand. This has led to bookmakers cutting his price from 6/5 to 1/1 and bring him closer to Praful Nargrund as the betting favourite.”
