Reform Leader Nigel Farage is favourite to become the next Prime Minister after Sir Kier Starmer as his odds shortened to 5/2.
Farage became an MP for the first time after being elected as Clacton MP at this July's General Election.
He was one of four Reform Party members to be elected this summer as Labour swept to a landslide victory over the Conservatives.
However, since coming to office, opinion polls for the Labour party of PM Sir Kier Starmer have dropped, leading to a shortening in the odds of Farage becoming the next British Prime Minister.
The former I’m A Celebrity star's odds were 20/1 when he announced a return to British politics and that he was standing at the 2024 General Election.
Since his election to Clacton, Farage took time out as an MP to support Donald Trump in his landslide US Election victory over Kamala Harris.
That victory has led to a growing number of bets backing Nigel Farage to do the same in the UK and hold the most powerful office in the country.

Nigel Farage Next British Prime Minister Odds
Farage favourite to take over after Starmer
Labour leader Kier Starmer stormed to the party's biggest victory at a General Election since Tony Blair in 1997 when his party overpowered the incumbent Conservative Party, winning 411 seats.
That secured Labour's position as the lead party for five years, with the next election coming in 2029.
However, with opinions plummeting, some believe Starmer won't be in charge come the next election.
Indeed, odds now suggest that Nigel Farage will be the next Prime Minister after Starmer has departed the post.
Below are the odds for the next British Prime Minister after Sir Kier Starmer:
Candidate | Odds |
---|---|
Nigel Farage | 5/2 |
Kemi Badenoch | 3/1 |
Wes Streeting | 16/1 |
Boris Johnson | 16/1 |

Conservative Party To Win Most Seats at Next Election
Farage's Reform Party could win big in 2029.
The next General Election could see a major change in who will be in charge of the country come 2029 and given Labour's difficult start to life in number 10.
While Ladbrokes had been offering odds of 5/1 for Farage to be the next leader of the Conservatives by 2026, those odds have lengthened with the appointment of Kemi Badanoch. However, the Tories are now favourites to regain the keys to no.10 from the odds below:
