Rupert Lowe has launched Restore Britain as a new national hard-right party.
Rupert Lowe, the independent MP for Great Yarmouth who dramatically split from Nigel Farage and Reform UK, has formally transformed his Restore Britain pressure group into a national political party, positioning it to the right of Reform UK with a hardline anti-immigration platform centred on mass deportations.
Launched in Great Yarmouth and backed publicly on X by Elon Musk, the new party is already attracting defecting councillors, including seven from Kent, and support from figures across the far-right spectrum.
Lowe says Restore Britain will operate as an umbrella movement, beginning with hyperlocal brands such as “Great Yarmouth First”, as it seeks to build grassroots representation while capitalising on discontent among Reform activists who believe Farage’s party has become too moderate.

Restore UK Odds to Win The Next General Election
Most Seats at Next General Election Odds
| Party | Odds | Bookmaker |
|---|---|---|
| Reform | 9/5 | AKBets |
| Labour | 2/1 | 10Bet |
| Conservatives | 11/2 | BetMGM |
| Green | 11/1 | QuinnBet |
| Restore Britain | 20/1 | AKBets |
Restore Britain’s emergence has also been reflected in the early betting markets, where they are priced at 20/1 with AKBets to win the most seats at the next general election.
Those odds imply an outside chance and place them firmly behind established parties such as Labour Party, Conservative Party and Reform UK, underlining just how steep the climb would be for a newly formed outfit with one sitting MP.
The price reflects growing online momentum and councillor defections, but it also highlights the historical difficulty new right-wing breakaway parties face in translating noise and activism into nationwide parliamentary dominance.
Interestingly in the last 24 hours Restore UK are the second most popular bet to win the most seats in the next general election with Oddschecker. They have received 27% of total bets, second to Reform with 34%.
