Endless Christmas classic enters the charts at 29 and has since been backed from 200/1 to 10/1 to be Christmas number one.
This week we’ve seen the song dedicated to Jo Cox come into evens to be Christmas Number One we’ve also seen a couple of old favourites odds shorten dramatically.
Musicians such as Ricky Wilson, KT Tunstall and David Gray have teamed up with the Parliament Choir and Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus to record a Rolling Stones with all proceed going to the Jo Cox Foundation. The song has yet to be released but it’s still as short as 4/5 to be Christmas number one, after being 5/1 at the start of the month.

In last Friday’s chart release there were a few old favourites making their first appearance for a while, Mariah Carey was placed number 29, Wham down in 49 and Shakin Stevens at number 93 in the charts.
Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas’ was a massive 200/1 shout last Thursday, now the Christmas classic is as short as 10/1. Wham wasn’t even priced up by bookmakers before Friday, now they can still be backed at 100/1. ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Shakin Stevens was a 50/1 shot in the middle of November but has since drifted to 100/1, improvements in the chart this Friday will see those odds cut dramatically.
