Bookmakers are offering evens on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to tie the knot after buying a Christmas tree together in Battersea Park.
After Prince Harry was reportedly spotted buying a Christmas tree with his girlfriend Meghan Markle, could marriage be the next step for the couple as we move into 2017?
The couple were seen on Monday night purchasing a 6ft Nordmann Fir from the Pine and Needles store in Battersea Park. This comes after Prince Harry confirmed they were dating last month.
Staff member Ollie Wilkinson said, following the couple's purchase: "...he walked off with the tree on his shoulder, holding her hand, and she was holding in her other hand a bunch of mistletoe."
The Royal Prince has had many suitors over the years but after this latest public outing with Meghan Markle, she is the overwhelming favourite to become his wife, at evens. Her odds have been dropping the longer the relationship has gone on, with her odds dropping from 3/1 down to evens over the last month. There's even been rumours that they have secretly become engaged, with bookies offering 8/1 on Prince Harry to marry in 2016.
Prince Harry's old flame, Chelsea Davy, on the other hand, has seen her odds of rekindling their relationship and marrying into the Royal Family lengthen in the same period, with her current odds at 8/1.
