The major cities have been priced up by the bookies…
With the big day fast approaching, bookmakers across the country are taking their final bets on a White Christmas across the UK.
But will you wake up to snow on Christmas day in your city? Oddschecker has taken a look at the betting.
Scotland
Starting north of the border, Aberdeen is currently available at odds-against 15/8 to snow on Christmas day.
It’s even more unlikely in Edinburgh as it happens, with odds of 11/2 currently being offered by Betfred.
Finally, Glasgow is the least likely city in bonnie Scotland to receive the white stuff, currently priced at 6/1 for a White Christmas.

England
The two most likely places, according to the bookies, are Newcastle (15/8) and Norwich (12/5).
Those hoping for a spectacularly white Christmas morning in Birmingham may be disappointed, with odds of 10/1 in the city.
Bristol is slightly longer at 14/1, whilst it’s 6/1 that the Houses of Parliament receive snowfall whilst dealing with the fallout from Brexit.
Leeds is 8/1 in the betting, the same price a Liverpool (8/1) and London (8/1), whilst Manchester is 10/1 to have a White Christmas.
Elsewhere
It’s looking unlikely Belfast (10/1) will have a White Christmas and Dublin (12/1) is a shade even unlikelier in the current betting.
Cardiff is the least likely of the UK cities at 18/1. On the other side of the pond, New York is 13/5 at the time of writing.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “It's been a grim year for all, but a White Christmas could be just the thing to somewhat raise spirits.
"While the bookies (and the Met Office) still believe it's more likely than not that snow will evade us, nothing can be ruled out in the year 2020..."
