Bookmakers have priced up a number of major UK cities and their chance of receiving snow on the big day.
An interesting note, a ‘White Christmas’ is determined by whether there is snowfall recorded in each city’s respective airport.
Starting off with the most likely city to be bedecked in the white stuff, northerly Aberdeen is unsurprisingly the shortest odds at 11/4.
The two main Scottish cities are next up in the betting at the same price, with Edinburgh and Glasgow both priced at 3/1.
In terms of the most likely destination in England, bookies have backed Newcastle (4/1) to have a chance of snow on Christmas Day.

Northern Ireland is next up in the betting with Belfast, which is considered 9/2 to receive snow on the 25th.
Two major English cities follow next, with Manchester (5/1) slightly ahead of London (6/1) in the market.
Leeds (6/1) and Birmingham (6/1) have the same price, as do Cork (6/1) and Dublin (6/1).
The three least likely cities to be deemed a White Christmas, according to bookies, are Liverpool (8/1), Cardiff (8/1) and Bristol (8/1).
