Glastonbury Headliner Odds 2023: Arctic Monkeys odds on for Pyramid Stage

Glastonbury Headliner Odds 2023: Arctic Monkeys odds on for Pyramid Stage

Tickets for Glastonbury 2023 go on sale tomorrow, but who are the favourites to headline the Pyramid Stage at next year’s festival?

Tomorrow marks the first chance for people to secure tickets for the 2023 Glastonbury Festival. Ticket and coach travel will go on sale at 6pm, while standard weekend tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday (6th November). But who should these punters expect to see on the iconic Pyramid Stage?

Who are the favourites to headline at Glastonbury 2023?

Arctic Monkeys

The festival took a break for a few years due to the pandemic returned with a bang last year with Sir Paul McCarthy and Kendrick Lamar headlining. The shortest priced favourites to headline the Pyramid Stage next year are Sheffield’s very own Arctic Monkeys.

Having headlined Reading and Leeds Festival in August, the bookies have made Alex Turner and co. clear favourites (1/10) to repeat the feat at next year’s Glastonbury. The Monkeys last headlined Glastonbury back in 2013 and it would fitting to see them return to headline 10 years on.

Guns N’ Roses

Next up on the list is Guns N’ Roses who can be found at the best price of 1/5 to perform on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023

The ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ band have performed all across Europe this summer. Festival organiser Emily Eavis has mentioned her desire to get the American hard rockers to play at Worthy Farm.

Sir Elton John

Third on the list is the legendary Sir Elton John at the best price of 1/2. If the iconic ‘Rocket Man’ singer was selected to headline on the Pyramid Stage it would mark the first time the 75-year-old has performed at Worthy Farm in his 40-year career. The Watford native is currently on his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour which has faced trouble due to the pandemic.

And who are the outsiders to headline at Glastonbury 2023?

There are a host of longshots in the market including the likes of Dua Lipa at 4/1. The 27-year-old has already performed at Glastonbury in 2017 but since then her stardom has skyrocketed.

Harry Styles is also on the list at 5/1. The former One Direction member announced his UK tour dates next summer but left a space open for Glastonbury weekend. Does that provide a clue that the ‘Watermelon’ singer will be dancing on the Pyramid Stage next June?
