Rod Stewart has been confirmed for the legends slot on Sunday afternoon at Glastonbury 2025.
The news came just over a week after Glastonbury tickets were sold out in less than 40 minutes after organisers adopted a new system where hopefuls were randomly assigned a place in a queue instead of having to refresh the holding page.

Speculation and interest in the headline acts for 2025 (25-29 June) is likely to be greater than usual among festival goers given that 2026 will be a fallow year.

The long term bookmakers' favourite to headline any night on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2025 is Olivia Rodrigo, now rated 80% likely at odds of 1/4 with both Unibet and BetMGM.

William Hill were the first bookmaker to go live with a Glastonbury 2025 market back in July (after the 2024 festival), at which point Rodrigo was 6/4.
The 21-year-old American singer-songwriter has had three number one singles so far - Drivers License, good 4 u and Vampire.
Rodrigo has now been joined at the head of the market by The 1975, cut from 1/2 to a matched 1/4 over the weekend. They had been as big as 50/1 the day before Coach tickets were released.
Third in the market is English record producer, singer and songwriter, Fred Again, whose odds have remained fairly static at slightly odds on since coming in from 11/10 just over a month ago.
Sam Fender is now 5/4 having been the 10/3 joint third favourite when the market opened, the same starting price as Ed Sheeran who is now out to 5/1.
Sabrina Carpenter and Green Day (both 7/4) contest the final place in the top five of the betting, edging out both Rihanna and Harry Styles (both 5/2).

Glastonbury 2025 Lineup
We are probably some way off knowing the official headline acts as part of the Glastonbury 2025 lineup. Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA were confirmed for last year's festival in mid-March.
The latest headliner announcement came in 2013 when Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons were all announced together just three months before.
