The Game Awards 2024 are back for another year and here at oddschecker, we have all you need to know about the awards and who's favourite to pick the Game of the Year prize.
The Game Awards represent the best of the best in gaming from the last 12 months, all culminating in the Game of the Year Award, the final honour of the event.
There are 30 awards up for grabs during the event, which is being hosted by Canadian games journalist Geoff Keighley, including Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Audio Design and much much more.
Astro Bot has the highest nominations with the game being up for seven awards, alongside Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Sony is the biggest publisher at the award and could win 15 separate awards on the evening at Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Game Awards 2024 Odds
There are six games up for the main prize of Game of the Year 2024.
Ahead of the showpiece, Astro Bot is the new favourite to win the award, overtaking Game Science's Black Myth: Wukong at the last after it had been heavily backed to take the prize.
Astro Bot was released in September to huge acclaim, scoring a whopping 94 with Metacritic and is set to be a big winner for Team Asobi and Sony.

What time is the Game Awards on?
