US Open Final Odds: Emma Raducanu cut to ODDS-ON favourite to be champion after straight sets victory in semi-finals

After beating Maria Sakkari 6-1 6-4 the British teenager has a shot at glory…

Throughout her incredible run to the US Open final, Emma Raducanu has consistently defied the odds to become the first British woman to compete in a major final in 44 years.

Now, the 18 year-old is odds-on favourite at a best price of 9/13 to lift the trophy and overcome Canadian teenager Leylah Fernandez who is currently 17/12 to win.

Punters back Raducanu to win the trophy at Flushing Meadows

In contrast to the bookmakers, oddschecker punters expect the final to be a much tighter affair with a narrow majority of bets being placed on Fernandez in the last 12 hours. Despite her short price, punters are still seeing value in the young Brit who has taken 49.2% of bets.

Raducanu 12/1 to become Wimbledon champion next summer

Raducanu broke onto the scene this summer with an impressive display at Wimbeldon and despite withdrawing in the round of 16, she proved she had the talent to compete at the top level.

Now in just her second Slam she has a shot at ultimate glory and a bright future in the sport. Raducanu has shortened drastically to win future major tournaments and is now a best price of 18/1 for the French Open, 14/1 for the Australian Open and 12/1 for next year's Wimbeldon.

US Open Final Odds:

  • Emma Raducanu 9/13
  • Leylah Fernandez 17/12
