Of course, Nadal is not the only one poised to benefit should Djokovic be denied the chance to compete for a 10th (and third successive) Australian Open title.
Daniil Medvedev, who landed the US Open title in 2021, has shortened to a best price of 23/10, while Alexander Zverev - who beat Medvedev to claim his second ATP Finals win in Turin just over six weeks ago - is now best priced 4/1.
