Wimbledon Odds: How to Bet on the Favourites at Wimbledon 2023

Wimbledon 2023 gets underway in just a few days. Here is the oddschecker how to bet guide for the tournament, including latest odds, promos and bookmaker offers.

We are just days away from the start of Wimbledon 2023 and here at oddschecker we are going to break down the latest odds and promos, as you look at how to bet on Wimbledon, in order to make more money on this tournament!

After winning the first two Grand Slams of the year, Novak Djokovic will be looking to win an eighth Wimbledon title. If he does that, he will tie Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon wins and extend his Grand Slam record to 24.

Men’s 2023 Wimbledon Betting Odds

Below, we will look into the latest 2023 Wimbledon Odds as we discover who could push Djokovic all the way. Will we see a new Wimbledon champion for the first time since Andy Murray’s historic win in 2013, or will Djokovic extend his win-streak here to five?

Who are the favourites for Wimbledon in 2023?

It will come as no surprise that Novak Djokovic, the man who has won five-straight Wimbledon titles, seven overall and the first two Grand Slams of the year, is the favourite (8/11) for this year’s tournament.

Djokovic has been a man on a mission this year, and despite Carlos Alcaraz being the favourite at the French Open, he was able to add a second Grand Slam win of the season, following up his Australian Open win to kick off the year.

Djokovic beat Casper Ruud in the final at Roland Garros and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final of the Australian Open, so who can get in the way of Djokovic winning another title?

The odds suggest only one man really stands between Djokovic and eighth Wimbledon title, and that is Carlos Alcaraz, who he beat in the semi-final of the French Open, the first time they had met in a Grand Slam match.

Novak Djokovic Odds to Win Wimbledon 2023

We have already established that Novak Djokovic is the clear favourite for Wimbledon this year, but just how short is he in the betting market?

Right now the best price you can get on Djokovic to win this year’s Gentleman’s Singles at Wimbledon is 8/11 but he is as short as 8/13.

Given his current run this season, which includes back-to-back Grand Slam wins this is really no surprise.

Djokovic won his first Wimbledon title in 2011, and he is has gone on to win seven of the past 11 renewals of this tournament. It is a truly remarkable record, which includes famous wins over both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

Andy Murray remains the only player to beat Novak Djokovic in a Wimbledon Final, but will that change this year?

Carlos Alcaraz Odds to Win Wimbledon 2023

Carlos Alcaraz is the last player not named Novak Djokovic to win a Grand Slam, as he beat Casper Ruud in the 2022 U.S. Open Final. He was then seen as the most likely player to dethrone Djokovic at Wimbledon, but he hasn’t been able to do it yet.

Alcaraz has played in two Wimbledon Championships, with his best effort coming 12 months ago when he made it to the fourth round. Alcaraz was knocked out by Jannik Skinner in 2022, but he will look to make it further this time around.

Right now, Alcaraz is the 7/2 second favourite to win Wimbledon 2023, but after that there is a significant drop off in the betting. Can the young Spaniard stop Djokovic, or does he need more experience at this famous tournament under his belt?

Do you think Alcaraz can make a run at his first Wimbledon title? Then claim this BetUK’s bet £10, get £30 welcome offer and win right away, even if Djokovic goes on to win again.

Men’s 2023 Wimbledon Betting Odds – Who are the best of the rest at Wimbledon this year?

We mentioned that Jannik Sinner knocked out Alcaraz here last year, and he is third in the Wimbledon betting. At 22/1 though he is not given much chance though, further suggesting this tournament will likely only be won by one of two players. Sinner made it to the quarter-final stages last year, but was eventually knocked out by Djokovic despite holding a two sets to love lead at one point.

Daniil Medvedev should also be considered, and overlooking him just because he is 33/1 might be a mistake. Like Alcaraz, Medvedev’s best performance at Wimbledon was a fourth round exit. Also like Alcaraz, his U.S. Open win remains his only Grand Slam, but he can hang with the top two in the world better than most.

Andy Murray still remains Britain’s best hope of a home winner at Wimbledon this year according to the odds, but at a whopping 80/1 best price suggests he is not being given much of a shot. This is no surprise given he just suffered a first-round exit at Queen’s and then lost another warm-up match to Holger Rune.

Cameron Norrie is the highest-ranked Brit in the tournament, but at a best price of 125/1, he too is being given very little chance in 2023, despite making it to last year’s semi-finals.

Let’s look at the odds for the top-10 players in the Gentleman’s Singles ahead of Wimbledon 2023.

Women’s Wimbledon Odds

Iga Swiatek is the favourite to win the Women’s Wimbledon title, which is no real surprise given she is #1 ranked women’s tennis player.

Swiatek won the 2022 U.S. Open and the 2023 French Open, so she has won two of the last three Grand Slams and four in total. The Polish star has never made it past the 4th round of Wimbledon though, so history at the moment is against her.

Next in the betting are last year’s winner Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka. Both can be backed at a best price of 11/2. Sabalenka beat Rybakina in the 2023 Australian Open Final to claim her first Grand Slam, matching Rybakina’s current tally.

Britain’s best hope in the Women’s tournament looks to be Katie Boulter, who is unseeded but recently made it to the semi-finals at Surbiton before winning her first WTA title at home in the Nottingham Open.

Boulter, who replaced Emma Raducanu as Britain’s No.1 women’s tennis star, will put the hopes of a nation on her shoulders. She made it to the third round in 2022. If you think Boulter can make a dream run at the Wimbledon 2023, she can be backed at a best price of 250/1!
