Celebrity Big Brother 2017: Odds and early contenders

We’ve taken a look at the rumoured contestants in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother

Channel 5 have confirmed that the new series of Celebrity Big Brother will start on the 3rd January which will be hosted by Emma Willis whilst Rylan Clark-Neal will continue to host CBB's Bit on the Side. The new series will have a twist, the theme is set to be “All Star Versus New Blood” and they are promising that it will be the most explosive series yet.

Early favourites to win the show are I’m a Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt (5/2) and two-time Big Brother winner Brian Dowling (7/2). Scarlett rose to fame on Gogglebox before taking part in this years I’m a Celebrity. After being crowned Queen of the jungle, she has consistently been linked with various reality television programmes. Brian won the second series of the show as well as Ultimate Big Brother in 2010. Some people rate him as the best ever housemate to have entered the Big Brother house.

Other previous winners of the show include Charlotte Crosby (7/2), Katie Price (6/1) and Brian Belo (7/1). All three were worthy winners of the show and provided us with plenty of entertainment throughout their stay.

The Only Way Is Essex cast members have been regulars throughout the BB years. Sam Faiers (10/1), Gemma Collins (12/1), Amy Childs (16/1) and Mario Falcone (25/1) are all previous housemates who would be a welcome addition to the house.

Honey G (10/1) made her name on the X Factor where she managed to reach the live shows. The self-proclaimed rapper caused a mixed reception from the public but Channel 5 are rumoured to be keen to get her in the house. Jedward (25/1) are another previous X Factor who have been linked with the show. The twins have already been in the house in 2011 and look set for a return.

Finally, Ed Balls (8/1) is high on Channel 5's list to enter the house after his successful appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. Nigel Farage (50/1) and Donald Trump (500/1) are two other names who have been mentioned but surely Trump won’t be entering the Big Brother house for now as he has bigger matters to deal with.
