We’ve had a look at how the odds have twisted and turned as the series comes to a close this evening.
All good things must come to an end and ahead of tonight’s Love Island final punters have been piling into Kem and Amber to win the series. £10 on the pair to win the show a week ago would have returned a tidy £110, compared to just £18.30 today. Over the same period Kem and Amber have accounted for 38% of all bets in the market and 49% of all stakes on the market. Having shone throughout Sunday evening’s episode, one punter has put £250 on the couple to go all the way in tonight’s final.
One of the big movers in the market are Marcel and Gabby, who have gone from 5/1 second-favourites to as long as 22/1 on Monday morning. Following a rocky spell it seems bettors have stayed well clear of backing these two. The couple account for just 14% of bets and 6% of stakes on the market.
Chris and Olivia have endured a turbulent ride in the Love Island villa, but have a great chance tonight according to the bookies. They are now just 7/2 to win the show, having been as long as 20/1 this time last week. 32% of bets on the market have been on the duo, accounting for 25% of stakes placed.
The only islanders to remain a fairly constant price throughout the past week are Jamie and Camilla. Priced at 13/8 a week ago the pair are currently 10/3 to win the series. They account for 16% of bets and 20% of stakes on the market.
