However, viewers really took to the TV personality last night, forcing the bookmakers to cut her odds to as short as 4/1, implying a 20% chance of winning.
Since the revealing of the first housemate last night, a massive 36% of all bets have been placed on Sandi Bogle winning the show. Considerably more than Shaun Williamson who was the second most popular pick with punters, accounting for 16% of all bets placed.
Trisha Paytas’ outfit didn’t have the same effect on viewers as Sandi Bogle’s, her odds drifted from 10/1 to 16/1 to win the show and she only accounted for 0.3% of all bets placed in the winner market, making her the least popular with punters.
It was also a disappointing night for Jemma Lucy. She was among the favourite pre-show with odds of 8/1, however after the first episode her odds lengthened to as big as 28/1. The model has only accounted for 2% of all bets placed on the winner of the series.
