CBB: Could Jemma Lucy follow in Bear's victorious footsteps?

Jemma Lucy last night survived eviction and could follow the same pattern as Bear in last year's series.

Throughout this series of Celebrity Big Brother, Jemma Lucy has been a controversial housemate to say the least. So much so that’s she’s been accused of bullying former Girls Aloud member, Sarah Harding and has also gone after Paul Danan.

This led her to be the clear favourite at odds of 8/11 for eviction last night, where she was up against Jordan Davies, Helen Lederer and Sam Thompson. Given her perceived behaviour, her chances of winning the show were also very slim and she was 100/1 up until the point she was voted safe last night.

In the end, Jordan Davies was the housemate voted out and since 10pm 46% of bets through Oddschecker have been on Jemma to win. There are obviously people out there voting for her, whether they like her or want to keep her in for the entertainment value. This series in particular would be quite dull without her and could mirror the series that Stephen ‘Bear’ won last year.

He was also accused of bullying and riling up his fellow housemates, becoming an outsider in the betting early on. He was nominated for every eviction during the series and as time went on his odds dropped further and further until he was the bookies’ favourite going into the final, which he won. He came out to a series of boos though, with public opinion divided over his behaviour.

Oddschecker users clearly believe the same could happen with Jemma Lucy and that has caused her odds to crash from 100/1 to 14/1.

There has been plenty of publicity over Jemma Lucy’s behaviour in the house but the more evictions she survives the lower her odds are going to fall and with no clear favourite in the house right now she could conceivably win, in much the same fashion as Bear last year.
