The TV personality is the early frontrunner as the 2018 series gets set to start.
Scottish-American actor John Barrowman has had his odds cut on winning this year's I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, now making him favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle.
The Torchwood star has been cut from 10/1 outsider into 3/1 clear favourite to win the show, following a flurry of bets on the entertainer.
Barrowman is the punters’ pick for the show as well, accumulating 19% of all bets over the last 24 hours on who will win the ITV hit series.
He overtakes previous favourite Noel Edmonds, who has not been officially unveiled as one of the initial contestants, although is rumoured to be entering the jungle. The former Deal or No Deal host is still 6/1 to win it though.
Barrowman discussed how delighted he would be with victory: “I would be over the moon if I won.
“I would be the king or queen of the jungle!”
Elsewhere, Coronation Street star Sair Khan is the second favourite to win the show at 6/1, followed by 'The Governess' Anne Hegerty at 8/1.
Famed for playing Will’s love interest in The Inbetweeners, Emily Atack is also 8/1 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle, alongside football manager Harry Redknapp and The Vamps’ James McVey.
DIY SOS star Nick Knowles is 9/1, with X-Factor’s Fleur East coming in at 10/1. Malique Thompson-Dwyer is 12/1 and actress Rita Simmons rounds off the contestants at 14/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson said: “The initial wave of contestants have been announced for everyone’s favourite jungle show, and punters have been quick to back fan-favourite John Barrowman to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle.
“Replacing former favourite Noel Edmonds, Barrowman is sure to dazzle in the jungle and is being snapped up by punters – accounting for a fifth of all bets on the eventual winner.”
