Almost half of all bets following last night’s show have been placed on 'Arry.
Harry Redknapp is now as short as 8/11 to be crowned King of the Jungle in this year’s I’m A Celebrity, as viewers continue to be charmed by the former Spurs and West Ham boss.
Redknapp’s antics and anecdotes have seen his odds crash in the betting market, from an opening price of 10/1 to a current best price of 11/10.
He’s received 46% of total bets since last night’s show, far more than the next most popular celebrity; Emily Atack with 16%
The Inbetweeners star is joint second-favourite at 5/1, alongside Nick Knowles.
But ‘Arry is surging clear at the moment and the win would make him the oldest I’m A Celebrity winner ever, at a sprightly 71 years of age.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Redknapp would have been a big price to be 'flossing' in the jungle, but having whipped out the dance move with fellow contestants Fleur East and Sair Khan, the former football manager is now a true fan favourite on sofas around the country.
