Love Island: This couple are MASSIVE favourites to win after first episode

Bookies and punters both reckon they’re shoo-ins to win the ITV show following episode one.

British bookies have slashed odds on Joe and Lucie being named top couple, making them by far and away the most likely to win Love Island 2019.

A cosy start to their new relationship on the opening episode of the hit ITV show has seen a flurry of bets being placed on the pair.

In fact, the flowing-haired couple have accrued 75% of bets in the last 24 hours, absolutely dominating the Love Island betting market.

That’s led to bookmakers cutting their odds from 14/1 into 3/1 overnight, with money continuing to pour in for Joe and Lucie.

Consequently, that’s made them massive favourites in the villa, with their next nearest challengers in the shape of Tommy and Amber (not even a couple yet) at 20/1.

Tommy is also proving popular with punters, and at 25/1 he and Amy are third favourites should they couple up.

Curtis and Lucie are next at 25/1 followed by this year’s ‘Adam’, in the shape of Anton, along with Amy at the same odds.

In regards to the least likely couple to win the show, Anton and Lucie are 50/1 following the surfer’s brutal rejection of the Scot.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “The opening show usually gives us a good indication of who our potential winners could be, with Jack and Dani hitting it off immediately last year.

"That pattern seems to have occurred this year again, with Joe and Lucie appearing to have chemistry from the get-go. That's prompted a stream of bets on the pair, with 3/4 of every bet placed backing the surfer and the baker.

"However, trouble in paradise could well be on the horizon, with Tommy and Curtis circling like sharks."
