Jenner joins Roman Kemp at the top of the market…
Caitlyn Jenner’s odds on winning I’m a Celebrity 2019 have been cut even further, making her the new joint-favourite to win the hit ITV show.
The opening two shows have seen her odds reduced dramatically to be crowned queen of the jungle, from 14/1 into 9/2.
That means she’s now the same price as other joint-favourite, Roman Kemp, who has also been priced at 9/2.
In turn, the ex-Arsenal striker has drifted quite considerably, from 6/4 clear favourite out to 5/1 third favourite.
Jacqueline Jossa is the other market mover in the jungle, available at 22/1 before heading into the show, now cut to 6/1 fourth favourite.
Jenner was praised as a “game-changer” by celeb John Barrowman last night after the show, with the Scot highlighting the impact on the transsexual community.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “We’re only two shows into this year’s offering of I’m a Celebrity, and Caitlyn Jenner has already made herself a firm fan favourite in the jungle.
“Not scared to open up on the trials and tribulations of her life, the camp last night heard the difficulties Jenner has faced throughout her adult life.
“There’s no doubt her fellow campmates are spellbound by the 70-year-old, but it appears that punters are also. A whopping 24% of bets since last night’s show finished have backed her to win the show, comfortably more than any other contestant.
