Maya Jama is receiving punters’ attention.
Laura Whitmore has been installed as the clear favourite to replaced Caroline Flack as the host of Love Island, following Flack’s exodus from the show.
Whitmore is the hot favourite at 6/4, who swooped up the early betting attention.
She has drifted in the last 15 minutes, having originally been priced at 1/1.
However, there is a runner in the race hot on the heels of the Irish presenter, with BBC Radio 1 DJ Maya Jama a market mover.
She’s been cut from 6/1 into 3/1 in the last 15 minutes, and is now attracting the lion’s share of betting activity.
Since the market opened, Whitmore has attracted 31% of bets, with Jama accruing 28% of bets.
American actress and model Arielle Vandenberg is the third favourite at 6/1, the same price as jungle star Emily Atack (6/1).
Sophie Monk comes next at 14/1, alongside Geordie Shore star Vickie Pattison at the same price.
Whitmore’s partner and voice of Love Island, Ian Sterling round off the top echelon of the market at 20/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "The Flack will not be back for the next series of Love Island, and there is certainly not a shortage of suitors the top job.
"Laure Whitmore, the partner of the show's beloved narrator Iain Stirling, is the current favourite to host the upcoming series in South Africa.
"Flack certainly has big shoes to fill, so the pressure would be on the Irish actress should she be given the gig."
