The Scottish singer’s ex-squeeze tops the bookies’ market
Lewis Capaldi’s ex-girlfriend, Paige Turley, has been installed as the early favourite to win Love Island Winter, ahead of the show starting this Sunday.
Turley is comfortably the bookies’ early favourite to be named top female at 11/4, ahead of the other four girls in the running.
She’s been heavily backed since the market opened, attracting 38% of all bets on what girl will be crowned queen of the villa.
Another relation to a famous face is the second favourite, with Saturday’s singer Rochelle Humes’ singer Sophie Piper currently 3/1 to win the show.
Shaughna Philips is the third favourite in the race at 8/1, followed by the wonderfully named Siannise Fudge at 14/1.
Miss Ghana UK contestant Leanne Amaning is the bookies’ least likely at 16/1 and has only attracted 7% of all bets in the market.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Before You Go mad at the idea of another Z-lister on Love Island, consider One Thing: you will always Rush to watch the show regardless of who is on it. Forever.
“Paige Turley's former romance with Lewis Capaldi certainly won't be Lost on You, but while the singer's ex-partner has been installed as the favourite to win the show, the unforgiving nature of the show may still leave the 22-year-old with Bruises.”
