The jungle does need a captain...
Karl Phillips or ‘Bootlegger’ as he’s more popularly known by his twitter audience has entered the market to appear on this year’s I’m a Celebrity, currently being offered at 50/1.
Other big names such as Elton John and Alan Brazil are also being valued at the same likelihood (50/1) as Bootlegger to enter the jungle.
Proudly ‘living the dream on jobseeker’s allowance’, Bootlegger is the king of tongue-in-cheek known for his satire comedic value and his passion for Wrexham FC.
With a Twitter following of 256K Karl would definitely be a popular choice to put into the Jungle and would likely promise a lot of entertainment for his fans Down Under alongside some of Britain’s favourite names.
Some more big celebrities being rumoured and offered to appear alongside Bootlegger on this year’s series are names such as media personalities Gemma Collins (33/1) and Katie Price (5/1), YouTuber and rapper KSI (25/1), and singer Robbie Williams (5/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "This year’s jungle needs a captain, and there are none finer than non-league-fanatic, Bootlegger.
"Could we see Karl swap his Wrexham tickets for a plane ticket to Australia this winter?"
