The Oscars is the most coveted prize for any film director or even actor to win.

The Best Picture Category has recognised some truly great films such The Godfather, Schindler’s List, Forrest Gump, and its most recent winner Parasite, who made history by becoming the first non-English language film to take the top prize.

This year’s Best Picture award is likely to going to go to Nomadland. It has won every major award so far this season, including top honour from the Producers Guild, the Directors Guild, and the Golden Globes.

Due to this, Nomadland has been priced at 2/9 and its Director Chloe Zhao priced at 1/14 to take home the Best Director Category.

As mentioned before, the Oscars has also recognised the extraordinary talents of Actors, with the likes of Jack Nicholson winning Best Actor three times and Katharine Hepburn winning Best Actress four times.

This year’s Best Actor category also has a clear odds-on favourite with Chadwick Boseman, who sadly died in August 2020 priced at 1/8 for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Carey Mulligan is currently the favourite to take home Best Actress, and is priced at 13/8 for her role in Promising Young Women.
