Nominated for a whopping 12 Oscars this year, Jane Campion’s ‘The Power of the Dog’ is a clear favourite to take home the biggest award in the industry.
Starring Englishman Benedict Cumberbatch, the psychological drama finds itself marginally odds-against at 8/7 to land Best Picture.
The big market mover, however, is Emilia Jones-starred CODA, which has been cut from 10/1 into 13/10 best price.
Jamie Dornan’s Belfast is 14/1 in the betting. Followed by an adaptation of the 1957 musical, West Side Story (40/1), then comes Dune (50/1) and King Richard (80/1).

Can Will Smith scoop Best Actor?
If the odds are anything to go by, he’s a shoo-in. Currently priced at 1/4, bookies are giving the Fresh Prince a whopping 80% chance.
At the time of writing, Smith has accrued around 38% of all bets placed on the eventual winner of Best Actor.
Benedict Cumberbatch is second favourite at 6/1, followed by Andrew Garfield (14/1), Denzel Washington (50/1) and Javier Bardem (66/1).
Who is favourite for Best Actress?
This betting market is considerably more competitive. Heading up the odds is ‘Eyes of Tammy Faye’ star Jessica Chastain, currently the 5/4 favourite.
The star of 2021’s Lucille Bell, Nicole Kidman is a familiar name in second favourite spot at 4/1, followed by a British hope in Olivia Coleman (7/1).
Kristen Stewart is next up at 7/1 for her performance in ‘Diana, Princess of Wales’, whilst Penelope Cruz rounds off the market at 25/1.
