With the highly anticipated season eight of Love Island now under way, oddschecker look at the early favourites for top female and male contestants.

Daughters of famous people have done well in Love Island, with Dani Dyer winning in 2018, so is Michael Owen's daughter Gemma one to watch in 2022? She currently sits at a best price of 4/1 but is as short as 5/2 with several bookies.
Indiyah and Amber make up the rest of the girls with best prices of 13/2 and 12/1 respectively. We are only one day into this season, and anything can happen in the coming weeks, as the public learns more about each islander.

Fishmonger Luca is the current top male
Now we turn our attention over to the boys, with the current favourite being Luca Bish at the best price of 18/5. Luca described himself as “so-fish-ticated” and seems to have strong sense of humour which could work well with him in the public eye and in the villa.
His nearest rival is Liam Llewellyn, a student from Newport. Liam is currently a best price of 4/1 and is partnered up with Gemma, whose head has already been turned by Italian hunk Davide Sanclimenti.
Davide is next on the list at the best price of 6/1. He describes himself as an “Italian Stallion” and a “Greek God”.
He was the surprise addition to this year’s Love Island and has the power to couple up with any of the girls this evening, leaving one of the boys without a partner and possibly up for public eviction.
Dubai real-estate agent Andrew is next on the list at the best price of 8/1 and is currently coupled up with current top female Tasha, so if he can stay with her his price could shorten in the coming weeks.
Dami and Ikenna make up the rest of the top male with the best prices of 10/1 and 16/1 respectively.
