Former Rugby League player Jacques and paramedic Paige are now the bookies favourites to win Love Island 2022 after last night’s cliff hanger.
The current favourites to win this year’s Love Island are Jacques and Paige, who are available at a best price of 7/2 (general 5/2) but can be found as short as 13/5 with one bookmaker.
After the couple shared their first kiss in last night’s episode, most bookmakers quickly shortened their odds and instilled them as favourites for the series.
Paige had a rocky start to life in the villa with the Swansea paramedic initially coupled up with fishmonger Luca, before he decided he had a greater connection with Gemma Owen.
Since Jacques has coupled up with Paige their relationship has gone from strength to strength with several of the other Islanders describing them as “cute”.

Next on the list we have Luca and Gemma, who share the same best price of 7/2 but remain a general 3/1 against the 5/2 for Jacques and Paige.
Luca and Gemma are currently not in a couple due to the new arrival Danica deciding to couple up with Luca in the last recoupling, but Luca has made it clear he only has eyes for Gemma.
Unlike most of the other couples the two have certainly been tested through this experience with Gemma’s ex Jacques coming into the villa, Gemma being initially attracted to Davide and now the pair finding themselves in different couples.
Andrew and Tasha are next up in the market at 12/1 but can be found as short as 8/1 in place.
Before last night’s cliff hanger - where we learned the lowest voted boy and girl will leave the villa in Tuesday's show - the two were as short as 11/2 in places to be the top couple, but both are now at risk of being dumped from the island.
Now may be the perfect time to back the drift if you believe these two can go all the way.
A new potential couple that has shortened in the market is Dami and Indiyah who before last night's episode was a best price of 16/1 but have shortened to a best price of 12/1 (8/1 in places).
Indiyah decided last night that what she has with her current partner Ikenna is more of a friendship and said she would be open to exploring where things could go with Dami.
Dami is currently coupled up with Amber but over the last few days has questioned the relationship and believes he would be better suited to Indiyah. Dami and Amber were as short as 9/1 a week ago to be the top couple, but now find themselves at a huge 250/1 with one bookmaker.
