The nation’s favourite celebrity dance competition returns to our screens tonight, so who leads the betting for Strictly Come Dancing 2022?
This year marks the 20th series of Strictly Come Dancing. Due to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the launch show was postponed and will air tonight, where the partners for each of the 15 celebrities will be revealed. Just a day later, on Saturday 24th September, the competition will begin.
Who are the favourites to win Strictly Come Dancing 2022?
So far, the market suggests that this will be a two-horse race with TV presenter Helen Skelton and former X Factor and I’m A Celebrity start Fleur East clear favourites, with both being priced at 7/2.
The current third favourite is former Two Pints of Lager and a Packer of Crips actor Will Mellor, who carries a best price of 13/2 but can be found as short as 5/1 with some bookmakers.
Meanwhile, right at the bottom of the market is Loose Women present Kaye Adams at 66/1, just ahead of former England captain Tony Adams (best price 40/1).

And who are the dark horses for the competition?
The Good Omens star Jayde Adams could be a real dark horse for the Glitterball Trophy. Adams, who used to dance competitively until 2011 before moving into a career in acting, can currently be found at the best price of 20/1 (worst price of 14/1).
Another contestant to keep an eye on is singer Matt Goss. Goss was the frontman for the Bros and certainly has a musical background. He is a best price of 9/1 but as short as 7/1 in places.
