I'm A Celebrity Odds: The shock name taking more bets than Coleen Rooney

One campmate in particular is drawing all the attention away from the favourites after last night's episode.

The jungle has been packed with drama and excitement on I’m A Celebrity. Dean McCullough stole the spotlight with a standout performance in the “Jack and the Screamstalk” trial, earning an impressive 10 stars in what has become his sixth challenge so far.

Maura Higgins marked her 34th birthday with a somewhat underwhelming celebration under the circumstances, while Reverend Richard Coles opened up in a candid chat with GK Barry, forming a surprising bond.

Viewers also got their first taste of drama recently as tensions are beginning to bubble in camp, with disagreements over chores and accusations of sexism adding to the mix.

The campmates have been in the jungle for over a week now and fans and bettors alike have been eagerly watching and speculating on who might be the king or queen of this year's series.

An interesting candidate has emerged following last night's episode.

Below is a look at the how the bets taken through oddschecker since the end of last night's episodes have been divided among celebrities.

Celebrity % of Bets
Danny Jones 18.8%
Richard Coles 18.8%

Coleen Rooney 10.2%
Maura Higgins 9.9%

Interestingly, Richard Coles seems to have left an impression on bettors in last episode after opening up about his experience as a gay vicar, with Barry discussing her past religious experiences as they conversed in the camp.

Their candid and humourous conversation created a memorable moment that sent fans into a frenzy on social media with some calling it one of the most unexpected moments in the show’s history.

As a result it seems to have caused a surge in popularity for Coles who topped the table in % of bets taken since the conclusion of the episode with 18.8%.

This surpassed all but one of the long term favourites including Coleen Rooney (10.2%), GK Barry (13.5%) and Maura Higgins (9.9%).

He is a best price of 30/1 with Bet Victor to be crowned king of the jungle

Danny Jones however, remains a popular figure in the camp receiving joint most bets after last night's episode and the most bets in the past week (19%).

He is favourite to win at a best price of 10/11 with Boylesport.
