I'm A Celeb Odds: Richard & Coleen Rooney smashed in as Danny loses popularity

Danny Jones has been the long-term favourite to win this year's series but is he losing popularity at the wrong time?

Fans of I'm A Celebrity have been treated to two evictions in the last three days.

Journalist and broadcaster Jane Moore, best known for her role on Loose Women, was the first celebrity to be evicted from the jungle on Friday night, followed by Northern Irish DJ Dean McCullough on Sunday night’s episode.

Ant and Dec revealed that Moore and McCullough were both in the bottom two and in danger of elimination on Friday night. To Dean's relief, Moore was declared the first to leave the jungle.

Upon her exit, she remarked, “Hard work does not get rewarded, let’s put it that way.”

McCullough’s relief was short-lived, however, as Ant and Dec returned on Sunday night to announce that he would be the second celebrity to leave the show. He was in the bottom two alongside Barry McGuigan before being voted out.

The Radio 1 presenter had been a controversial figure in camp, often criticised for shirking responsibilities. Campmate Melvin even nicknamed him “Houdini” due to his tendency to disappear when there were chores to be done.

With 10 celebrities remaining in the camp, let’s take a look at who is the most popular with bettors and which celebrity is falling out of favour.

Who is the favourite to win I'm A Celebrity 2024?

Danny Jones remains the likeliest winner of the show according to the betting odds but confidence in the favourite appears to be diminishing somewhat.

He was 1/2 with some bookmakers on Saturday but is now as big as 5/4 on BoyleSports.

Nevertheless, Jones is still the most backed celebrity after last night's episode with 24% of total bets made through oddschecker since the conclusion last night.

Two celebrities who have seen their price drop dramatically since the last couple of episodes aired are Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney.

Richard Coles was 8/1 with some bookmakers on Saturday but is now a shortest price of 11/5. The best price you can get is 3/1 with Vbet.

Viewers are getting to know the popular vicar more and more as the show progresses.

His appearance in Saturday’s trial, which featured one of the show’s most challenging eating tasks yet - including fermented herring and more - was a standout moment. Additionally, his touching story about his late partner, has endeared him to fans.

Meanwhile, Coleen Rooney was 8/1 with some bookmakers on Saturday and is now a shortest 2/1 with a best price of 17/5 with SpreadEX.

Both Rooney and Coles have received 14% of bets on the winner market of I'm A Celebrity since the conclusion of last night's episode.

Who is the favourite to leave the jungle next?

The odds suggest that Barry McGuigan is the likeliest to leave in Monday night's show as the former boxer has the longest sportsbook odds to win the show of 200/1 and edged out Dean for eviction last night. He is expected to be up against Melvin Odoom in the bottom two tonight.
