James Norton has seen a surge in support in the betting markets to become the next James Bond across the oddschecker platform.
We can exclusively reveal that 34% of bets placed so far this week on the next James Bond market have been on Norton, an increase from the 9% share he received in the month prior.
In response to this market support, leading bookmakers Paddy Power and Ladbrokes have slashed his odds from 6/1 to 3/1.
This sudden shift has made Norton one of the key contenders for the coveted role, but the betting market remains wide open.

Josh O’Connor, best known for his role in The Crown, had been the most popular choice on oddschecker in 2025, commanding 32% of the bets so far this year.
At the peak of his popularity in late 2024, O’Connor’s odds were as short as 4/6 (60% implied probability).
However, his dominant position has been challenged this week by the growing support for Norton. The next James Bond betting market is the longest-running betting market on oddschecker, having been live since 2013, shortly after the release of Skyfall.
