Strictly Come Dancing Week 3 Odds: Who is favourite to be eliminated next?

Strictly Come Dancing Week 3 is here - who is favourite to be eliminated?

Shaun Wright-Phillips is the favourite to be the next celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, and Lacey Turner remains the one to beat in the winner betting heading into Week 3.

The former England winger is 9/4 to leave this weekend. Dame Sarah Storey is the second favourite at 10/3 and Melanie Walters is the third favourite at 7/2. That's a tight market at the top, with no clear favourite.

In the outright betting, Turner is 13/8 to lift the Glitterball with Vito Coppola. John Nellis is the second favourite at 6/1, ahead of Dani Dyer at 15/2 and leaderboard leader Delta Goodrem at 8/1.

Fourteen couples remain after Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden became the first pair voted off last Sunday.

The Week 3 live show is on BBC One on Saturday 10 October from 6.15pm, with the results show on Sunday 11 October at 7.10pm. There is no theme this weekend, with Icons Week to follow on 17 October.

Wright-Phillips heads the market despite not being bottom of the leaderboard. He scored 25 for his salsa in Movie Week, which puts him on 40 across the first two weeks after he was joint bottom on 15 in Week 1.

Storey shares a similar story. She was also joint bottom in Week 1 and added 24 for her Charleston, leaving her on 39.

Walters has been bottom or joint bottom on the judges' scores in both weeks and sits last overall on 30. She scored 15 for her Edelweiss waltz with Aljaž Škorjanec. Head judge Shirley Ballas said she "had quite a few mistakes" and warned she has "lots of other ballroom dances" to come. The public vote has kept her safe so far, which is why bookmakers have her as third favourite rather than favourite.

Winstone is 6/1 after surviving last week's dance-off against Appleton. All four judges said they would have saved her and Carlos Gu.

Lacey Turner Favourite for the Glitterball

Turner has been the favourite since Movie Week, when bookmakers cut her sharply. She was around 5/2 to 3/1 with bet365 on 3 October and had shortened to 7/4 by the following day. She scored 28 for her quickstep and is joint second on the leaderboard with 55. She and Coppola will dance the samba to Bamboléo by the Gipsy Kings on Saturday.

Nellis topped the Week 1 leaderboard with 31 and has 54 overall, but he has drifted from around 3/1 to 6/1 on the exchange since Movie Week. Dyer has also eased since then. She drifted from about 9/2 to 13/2 with several firms after scoring 23 for her foxtrot with Nikita Kuzmin.

Goodrem leads the combined leaderboard on 59 after an American Smooth that scored 30. Motsi Mabuse told her: "You've got everything it takes. I believe in you." Even so, she is only fourth favourite at 8/1.

Graeme Hall topped Movie Week with 31 for his Godfather waltz with Lauren Oakley and is 12/1.

Last year's series was won by Karen Carney and Carlos Gu.
