A potential mega-fight for AJ would see him starting at a huge price.
With reports circling of a monster £350m multi-fight deal, Anthony Joshua has opened as a sizable underdog in a potential fight with UFC champ Stipe Miocic.
Bookies have slapped Joshua with a 10/1 underdog tag, with Stipe Miocic a 1/50 certainty in their estimations.
Joshua has openly expressed his interest in joining the £3bn business, claiming that he is interested in working with MMA mogul Dana White.
He said: "I’m interested because we can all work together.”
"Mine and Eddie's relationship is a really good working relationship. You know? And I'm sure Eddie has an interest in working with Dana White. If it's good business, it makes sense.”
White is set to attend Joshua’s bout with Joseph Parker next weekend in Cardiff, with negotiations reported to be underway surrounding the sensational potential switch.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “With Joshua coming over into the relative unknown world of MMA, bookies have decisively dispelled any chance for an AJ win.
“Similar to McGregor stepping into Mayweather’s world, bookies have overwhelmingly sided with the staple of the sport as opposed to the debutant.
“With UFC head-honcho Dana White attending Joshua’s scrap against Parker, his eyes will firmly be on one of the biggest talents in combat sports.”
