Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora III

In what could be the least anticipated Tyson Fury fight in years, the WBC Heavyweight Champion puts his title on the line against fellow veteran Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This will be the third time these two iconic British fighters have met; the first time was in 2011 when Tyson Fury landed an unanimous decision victory over Chisora at Wembley Stadium.

The second time came in 2014, when Chisora’s team pulled their fighter out in Round 10 following a dominant performance up until that point from Fury.

The backdrop to this fight has been dominated by boxing fans questioning Fury’s choice of opponent. Many were hoping we’d finally see ‘The Gypsy King’ take on Anthony Joshua or face a unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora III Prediction

Betting Tip 1: Over 5.5 Total Rounds @ 3/4 – 2pts

A near £30 PPV price, with an underwhelming undercard to match, it’s hard to envision Fury stopping Chisora early, as capable as he is of doing so. In their face-off, the two fighters agreed to stand in the middle of the ring and “batter the s*** out of each other”.

While that may happen to an extent, Fury will not be putting his legacy on the line and risk getting knocked out from a devastating blow from Chisora (which he has in the locker).

Over 5.5 Total Rounds at 3/4 seems a very generous price considering other firms are offering as short as 2/5 in this market.

Betting Tip 2: Tyson Fury to win in Rounds 7-9 @ 39/10 – 1.5pts

This leads nicely into our second tip. Fury has the quality and power to knock Chisora out whenever he fancies it. However, he understands the paying crowd have come to watch him fight and he will want to put on a show for those watching. We are backing Fury to pick up the pace in the second half of the fight and finish Chisora in Rounds 7-9.
