Dave Chisnall v Jelle Klaasen - 19:15

Dave Chisnall finally checked out the darts his scoring power deserves in winning his 1st match of the Premier League 7-4 over Kim Huybrechts. It was a very good performance from Chizzy, averaging 101.2, hitting five 180s with a 41% checkout rate. Unsurprisingly Jelle Klaasen lost against Michael van Gerwen to make it three defeats out of three, and despite them all coming against the top three players in the world, it's a worrying trend that is difficult to get out of in the Premier League. Chisnall is 2.10 favourite and whilst that may appeal, Klaasen leads the head-to-head 6-4 and Chizzy's performances overall this year haven't fully convinced. Instead focussing on Jelle's performance looks the way to to go. His average line has been set at 96.5 and this year he's averaging 95.64, and going back further it's 96.19 since 2016. Against Chisnall over his career it's just 90.36.

Michael van Gerwen v Adrian Lewis - 19:45

Michael van Gerwen comfortably beat Jelle Klaasen last week to make it back-to-back wins after the week one's high quality draw with Gary Anderson. Adrian Lewis continued his poor form averaging just 88.01 in his defeat to James Wade. His action and performance look a long way from his two-time World Champion form and it's reflected in his price with him being as big as 10.0. Van Gerwen has won 9 of their last 11 meetings and the only saving grace for Lewis is the best of 12 leg format but he won't make any inroads into MVG with a tournament average of only 93.91 - over 11 points shorter than the Green Machine's 105.32. The Dutchmen is best priced 1.25 but we can boost that to 1.91 by backing him to hit the most 180s aswell. Since the 2016, MVG is throwing a 180 every 0.36 legs to Lewis' 0.22 legs in the Premier League.

MVG to win the match & most 180s - 1pt @ 1.91

Gary Anderson v James Wade - 20:30

Gary Anderson hit six 180s, hit 71% of his doubles and averaged 106.59 but still lost 7-5 to Peter Wright! James Wade put in yet another Machine-esque performance, taking out 121, 96 and 94 on his way to victory over Lewis. Anderson has only won two of the last nine against Wade, including two draws last year, so odds of 1.6 look prohibitive and getting with the Machine is advisable. His checkout line is down at 94.5 and anything less than 100 is worth taking advantage of. Over the last six months, Wade has covered this line in 24 of his last 28 TV matches (86%).

James Wade over 94.5 checkout - 1pt @ 1.85

Phil Taylor v Kim Huybrechts - 21:15

It wasn't quite the high quality contest the names deserved but Phil Taylor got the job done last week winning 7-4 against Raymond van Barneveld. Kim Huybrechts failed to win yet again in the Premier League with the loss to Chisnall, meaning it's now 8 defeats in 12, with just the solitary win. Taylor enjoys beating Huybrechts having won 11 of their 12 meetings and is 1.8 to cover a 2.5 leg handicap. It looks favourable with only one break of throw required but The Power isn't quite firing on all cylinders at the moment and Kim has generally kept things close in his Premier League matches, reaching five legs or more on 7 of 12 occasions. Instead with Taylor perhaps still adjusting to his new darts, backing his average to be less than three figures looks the way to go. Just 96.39 v Barney last week, he's averaging over two points fewer so far in 2017 with 97.94.

Phil Taylor under 100.5 average - 1pt @ 1.85

Raymond van Barneveld v Peter Wright - 22:00

Despite outscoring Taylor and improving his doubles to 50%, Barney succumbed to defeat in Leeds. Peter Wright put in a ridiculously good performance to beat Anderson, throwing 17 ton+, 16 140+, four ton+ finishes to finish with an average of 109.48 - his 2nd highest ever TV average. Snakebite has won four of the last six meetings between the two but overall Barney leads 8-5 (three of five PL matches drawn) and there's not a lot in the performance statistics for the last 12 months and the year-to-date, so another tight match looks in-store. The total legs line is set at 11.5 and a generous 2.2 for over and that looks the way to play it. A draw or a 7-5 victory for either player will see the bet win, the way all five of their Premier League meetings have gone.

Over 11.5 legs - 1pt @ 2.2
