Rob Cross v Gary Anderson

Neither Anderson nor Cross were at their best last week, and both could do with a really good performance to kick-start their season. Cross was flattered only losing 7-5 to Wright and an average of 90 is no way near good enough. Anderson wasn’t that much better though and he has to improve on his doubling if he wants to finish in the top four this year. You couldn’t be confident backing either of these two at the moment. It has the makings of a tight game with both players trying to play themselves into some form. Both will be desperate not to lose, therefore the draw at 7/2 looks a little overpriced.

Draw - 1pt @ 7/2

Gerwyn Price v Peter Wright

These two met on the weekend which saw Wright come out on top winning 8-6 in the final of Players Championship 5. I can see another close game this evening, with the Iceman and Snakebite both at the very top of their games. Both players took home the two titles up for grabs on Saturday and Sunday too. All three of Price’s games in the Premier League so far have ended in draws and Wright’s have all gone to the final leg of the game as well. Neither player knows when they are beaten and are playing so well that they shouldn’t be blown away. On this basis, the 11/10 available on over 11.5 legs looks like a good bet. We should be in store for a great game that goes down to the wire.

Over 11.5 legs - 1pt @ 11/10
