Scott Waites v Jonathan Worsley

The first comes in the third match of the night and the -1.5 on Scott Waites at 1/1 is the play. The two time BDO World Champion finally made the switch to the PDC this year after winning a two year tour card. He had a good run in the UK open, before losing in a close game to the world number 17, Jonny Clayton. Worsley struggled in the same tournament and hasn’t got far in a Players Championship in a while.

Jonathan Worsley v Dave Chisnall

Chizzy is a class above here, so it makes sense to take the -2.5 on him at 11/10. He put together a nice run at Players Championship 8 last month and if he is close to his best he should win cosily here. Jonathan Worsley’s game isn’t close to Chisnall’s, a career best in majors of the last 96 in the UK Open makes that clear. We have seen a few upsets already in the PDC Home Tour, but if Chizzy plays like we all know he can, he shouldn’t have much to worry about.
