Simon Whitlock is the class act of the group here, and if at his best will take some stopping. The Wizard has been playing some good darts this year and whilst he isn’t quite as high in the rankings as he once was, he is still a formidable player on his day. Kirk Shepherd v Mike van Duivenbode

Mike van Duivendode is an exciting youngster who has been making a name for himself since winning a Tour Card. The Dutchman hit a nine-darter in February, beating Chis Dobey in the process. He has also beaten the likes of Kim Huybrechts and Max Hopp too. If he can start well, Shepherd will be under plenty of pressure and the youngster can show his ability. Play van Duivendode at 5/6.
